Afshin is our founding director, having set up Thompson Taraz in 1993. Prior to that he had a 14 year career firstly with KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and subsequently with Arthur Andersen where he gained broad based experience of a variety of national and international businesses and financial consulting.
Over the last twenty years Afshin has specialised in the real estate and investment fund sectors. His main focus is on the provision of practical and commercial advice on all matters relating to fund establishment and dissolution. He is able to offer advice on the appropriate structuring of corporate finance and corporate tax, as well as related matters such as financial planning.
Afshin enjoys working with multi-disciplinary teams and ambitious clients, adding value through advice and knowledgeable support.
